La Grange Park Little League has been our village's home for youth ball since 1952 — and its girls' fastpitch softball program, launched in 2018, keeps growing. From first swings on the tee to Juniors fast-pitch, every player finds her team here.
From first swings to fast-pitch.
A true development ladder — every player advances at her own pace, all within one La Grange Park community.
First Swings · Ages 4–7
Tee Ball and Coach Pitch. Players learn to throw, catch, and hit off the tee or a coach's toss — no score, no strikeouts, all fun.
Learn to Pitch · Grades 2–3
Kid Pitch "Peanuts" — a 10″ softie and a 30-foot mound. This is where players first take the circle and learn to pitch the game.
Competitive Fastpitch
Minors, Majors, and Juniors — full kid-pitch softball with umpires, standings, and playoffs. The heart of the league's spring season.
All-Stars & Travel
Standout players continue into All-Star tournaments and our travel pathway — coordinated by the league's travel-ball liaison.

Registration opens December 1 each year and runs on SportsEngine. Every player must live or attend school within the league boundaries. Fees include a uniform and a full season — exact pricing is shown at checkout.

La Grange Park Little League is led entirely by volunteer parents. These are the roles behind the softball program — reach any of them through the league office.

How is my child's age division decided?
Divisions are set by your athlete's age as of December 31, 2025. If they fall between groups or you'd like them to "play up," contact our registrar and we'll help place them.
What equipment do we need to provide?
Players bring their own glove and cleats. Bats and helmets can be shared or loaned, and we provide every player's jersey and cap. New to the sport? Our equipment closet can get you started at no cost.
What's the difference between Rec and Travel?
Recreation League is balanced, local, and built around equal play time and fun. Travel/Select is an evaluated, competitive roster that practices more and plays regional tournaments. Many players start in Rec and move up.
Do you offer financial assistance?
Yes. No child is turned away over cost — we offer need-based scholarships and equipment loans. Just note it during registration or reach out privately to our board.
What's your refund and rainout policy?
Full refunds are available up to one week before Opening Day. Rainouts are posted to the rainout line and rescheduled when fields allow.
